Armidale Situated at 980 meters above sea level, Armidale is Australia’s

National Park is perhaps the most famous of all parks in the area, being named
after John Oxley, the renowned Australian explorer who travelled through here
in 1818. It was listed as a World Heritage Site in 2007 and makes for an
incredible experience. The Aspley Falls may be a staggering climb but the
staggering views of the waterfall and gorge below from the Observation Deck is
well worth the effort; Wollomomboi Falls is one of Australia’s highest
waterfalls and Budds Mare consists of fabulous trails through stunning dry
rainforest.

Being part of Australia’s wine region, Armidale is the perfect stop for
those who enjoy the finer things in life, including wine. Due to the high
altitudes and the cooler winter season, the local wine produced here has
developed a distinctive aroma. Guests can get to learn and appreciate this
production within Armidale.
