Republic of India or
simply India is a country that is located in South Asia. It is bounded by the
Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal. The country has an estimated area
of 1,269,200 sq mi and it is the seventh largest nation in terms of the total
area. Its capital city is New Delhi and the largest city in the country is
Mumbai.
The climate of India
varies in several types and it is quite amazing because they possess lots of
climates. These are the: Tropical rainforest, tropical savannah, tropical and
subtropical steppe, tropical desert, moist subtropical, mountain, drought and
tropical semi-arid steppe.
The Demonym of India
is Indian and has a total population of 1,210,193,422 during the year of 2011.
Actually, it is the second most populous country in the world! The country has
no National Language but has two chief language families, these are the:
Dravidian and Indo-Aryan languages. Adding up, the official language of the
country is Hindi that is spoken by most of the Indians. The English language is
the subsidiary official language because it is also usually spoken, more
specifically in businesses and in organizations.
India is known to be
the place of some of the major religious beliefs today. These are the Buddhism,
Hinduism, Sikhism and Jainism. In the country, 80.5% of the total population
practice Hinduism, 13.4% practice Islam, 2.3% practice Christianity and the
remaining population are Sikhism, Buddhism, Jainism and other minority religious
groups.
Federal parliamentary
constitutional republic is the type of government of India and it has three
branches: the executive branch, legislative branch and judicial branch. The
executive branch’s head of state is the president, while the head of government
is the prime minister, which is appointed by the president. The legislative
branch comprises of two large divisions: the RajyaSabha, which is the upper
house and the LokSabha, which is the lower house. Lastly, the judicial branch
is divided into three: the Supreme Court, the High Courts and many Trial
Courts.
India really has many
stunning places that should be visited by many. One of this is the immense
TajMahal! The enormous mausoleum is made up of white marble. It is really a
masterpiece that became one of the tourist attractions in India. Not only is the TajMahal
amazing, but also its gorgeous surroundings: the buildings, pools, the gardens
and the trees and bushes. This is why it is called the Teardrop on the Cheek of Eternity.
If you love the beauty of nature, India also has well-known tourist
attractions that are visited by many because of its magnificence and its
affordability. Kerala backwaters are chain of many lagoons and many lakes that
is inhabited by countless uncommon aquatic living species. You can ride a boat
in order to take a trip around the area.
Another stunning place in the said country is the Kanha National Park.
It is great visiting the area because of the natural world inside of it. The
park is also one of the most gorgeous wildlife reserves in the continent of
Asia. You can see here variety of animals and different birds, especially
